The President of LES China, Mr. Zhongqi Zhou, Vice President Mr. Chris Shaowei and Secretary General Mr. Aimin Huo were warmly received and had discussions with their leaders and colleagues on the development of IP licensing in China and issues of mutual interest as well as opportunities on cooperation on educational program and other projects in the future. We were invited to visit the showroom of State Intellectual Property Operation Public Service Platform, which is the first state-level platform established to facilitate IP operation and commercialization, featuring function of IP evaluation, online IP transfer and data analysis service.

During the meetings, LES China introduced the history and goals of LESI as a non-profit international organization, our recent work and activities, especially the highlight event LESI Annual Conference. We also took the opportunity to invite them to attend LESI Annual Conference and assist with the promotion of the events organized by LESI etc.

We have plans to arrange more meetings with IP related organizations in China, hoping to create more opportunities for communication, build connections and seek supports to work together with other parties in organizing events and activities for LES members.
