On Dec. 3rd, 2020, IP House and Zhichanli jointly released the ranking of 2019-2020 Top 10 Intellectual Property litigation Agencies in China. CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, once again, is on the list.

AAAA-class Patent Agency by Beijing Patent Attorneys Association （2016）

The rating result of patent agencies was announced on the working conference on Intellectual Property Services in Beijing held on March 22, 2017. CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office was awarded as AAAA-class Patent Agency. CCPIT Won ALB China Law Awards: 2012 IP Law Firm of the Year

The ALB China Law Awards 2012 was held on 28th March in Beijing. Based on months of intensive research, the event recognized the excellent and outstanding achievements of China’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams. CCPIT Patent & Trademark Law Office is ranked Tier 1 for both its patent and trademark/copyright businesses in ALB (i.e. Asian Legal Business) China IP ranking 2015. According to ALB China, May 2015 issue, CCPIT Patent & Trademark Law Office has worked on a number of patent infringement cases for several blue-chip clients. The firm is representing a prominent U.S. electronics maker in a string of patent infringement cases in China. It also helped BMW win a patent infringement suit against an individual, and is advising Abbott Laboratories on a series of patent infringement case.

On April 21, 2016, the 13th annual ALB China Law Awards 2016 was held in Beijing on which observance, the excellence and outstanding achievements of China’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams of the past year were recognized. With over 40 in-house counsel, private practice lawyers, government officials and academia professors comprising the judging panel , the appraisal event were conducted in accordance with strict parameters. On April 20, 2017, the 14th annual ALB China Law Awards 2017 was held in Beijing on which observance, the excellence and outstanding achievements of China’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams as well as the top deals and dealmakers of the past year were recognized. CCPIT patent and Trademark Law Office, standing out from other finalists,  is ranked Tier 1 for both its patent and trademark/copyright, and has been awarded the IP Law Firm of the Year - China.

On April 19, 2018, the 15th annual ALB China Law Awards 2018 was held in Beijing on which observance, the excellence and outstanding achievements of China’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams of the past year were recognized. CCPIT patent and Trademark Law Office, standing out from the other finalists, has been ranked tier 1 in both the area of patent and trademark/copyright. ALB drew information from firm submissions, interviews, editorial resources and market suggestions to identify and rank the top firms for intellectual property in Asia. The research covered the period spanning from January 2017 to February 2018. The vice president of the firm, Zhongqi Zhou presented and said that this award meant more than ever at a time the firm just celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017, the firm would count our blessings and keep on going.

On 19 April 2018, JC Consulting Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business hosted the 15th annual ALB China Law Awards in Beijing. Again, CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office was awarded IP Law Firm of the Year-China for our outstanding achievements over the past 12 months. The vice president of the firm, Zhongqi Zhou presented in the event and received the trophy from ALB. On September 17, the awarding ceremony of the 17th annual ALB China Law Awards 2020 was held in Park Hyatt Beijing Hotel, on which the final winners of the year were announced. 46 award categories were set by ALB to pay tribute to the excellent performance of the leading law firms and in-house teams, as well as the outstanding transaction cases in the past year. More than 200 law firms and in-house teams took part in the ceremony. CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office was selected as IP Law Firm of the Year in China. On behalf of the firm, Mr. Yonggang Wang, along with about 300 influential lawyers, in-house counsels and investment bankers, participated the awarding ceremony to witness the competence and spiritual outlook of the law firms and in-house teams that represent the leading position in the legal profession.

CCPIT Scooped 2012 Asia IP Awards for Patents

Again, CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office won an award at the 2012 Asia IP Awards Ceremony hosted by Asia IP Magazine in Chiang Mai, Thailand on October 26, 2012. The firm was awarded "China Patent Firm of the Year" for the second consecutive year.

The Asia IP Awards are based on an extensive poll of more than 4000 in-house counsel in Asia and around the world. The firms receiving the most votes in each country were awarded on the night.

Winner of 2020 China IP Awards - IP Firm of the Year by Asia IP

On May 7, 2020, the April issue of Asia IP magazine published the list of winners for 2020 China IP Awards. CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office was awarded the IP Firm of the Year, the biggest winner of China IP Awards.

Competition for the awards was extremely fierce, and the winners really do represent the very best IP firms in China. In determining the winners, law firms were asked to submit details of cases they had worked on, which were combined with the research by Asia IP’s editorial team. Corporate counsel from around the world then voted on the shortlist, which means that the firm awarded is one of the top choices for corporate counsel looking for IP advice in China.
