This IP Mock Trial is jointly organized by both China Intellectual Property Training Center and Johan Marshall Law School, and co-sponsored by both CCIPT Patent and Trademark Law Office and Leob & Leob LLP. This IP Mock Trial invites Judge from Beijing High People's court and Federal Judge from US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to respectively preside over Chinese portion of the mock trial and US portion of the mock trial, attracting people from IP-related departments, courts as well as various universities.

This IP Mock Trial simulates and draws a comparison between Chinese and US trademark infringement cases, revealing the differences between trademark infringement proceedings, and trademark law and regulations of China and those of US. It makes attendees better understand proceedings of trademark infringement cases tried by Chinese judiciary and US judiciary, and similarities and differences between Chinese way of applying the law and American way of applying the law when Chinese judiciary and American judiciary are dealing with their own trademark infringement cases; It provides IP law practitioners with actual professional guidance and assistances, and helps enhance students' understanding of court trial practices. Successful conducting of this IP Mock Trial strengthens mutual understanding between Chinese people and American people from the IP field, and lays a solid foundation of future cooperation in the IP field between IP practitioners from two nations; and also our law office's professionalism is remarkably demonstrated in this IP Mock Trial.
