On 14 July, the CNIPA issued the decision on awarding the 21st China Patent Awards. 12 patents represented by CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office won the awards.

Jointly evaluated by the CNIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the China patent awards are regarded as the highest awards in the patent field in China. The evaluation is held once a year and the Awards have a wide international influence. According to China Patent Awards Evaluation Methodology, the number of patents awarded is as large as 869, including 6 categories: Chinese patent gold medal–– 30 patents, Chinese design gold medal––10 design patents, Chinese patent silver medal––58 patents, Chinese design silver medal––15 design patents, Chinese patent awards of excellence––696 patents, Chinese design awards of excellence––60 design patents.

The number of patents represented by CCPIT ranks the fifth place. Since most of the clients of CCPIT are from abroad, whose patents were not evaluated, the ranking result  represents a very high award-winning ratio, showing the firm's outstanding performance in handling patent matters for clients.
