The Supreme People’s Court announced on May 1, 2014 that the patent preliminary injunction order case handled by CCPIT on behalf of in Abbott the Beijing No. 3 Intermediate People’s Court as Landmark case.

The preliminary injunction order paved the way for Abbott to successfully and effectively enforces its patent right before the court, by urging the infringer from rejecting to sign and receive the court documents to actively stop the infringement, and eventually settle with Abbott.

The preliminary injunction order obtained by Abbott is the first one in relation to patent infringement issued by the courts in Beijing.
