Mr. Hao Ma, President of CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, vice president of All-China Patent Agents Association (ACPAA), President of CTA (China Trademark Association) Trademark Agent Branch Association, was elected the vice president of International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) at the World Intellectual Property Conference held in Toronto, Canada on September 17, 2014, becoming one of the nine members in the Affairs Bureau-the executive institution of AIPPI. Mr. Hao Ma is the first Chinese of the bureau by far since the establishment of AIPPI in 1897. The election marks that the development of intellectual properties undertaking in China has drawn the attention of the world and the status as well as the influence of China in global intellectual property matters has been enhanced and promoted, which in turn will further benefit the communication and cooperation in the area of intellectual property between China and the world.
