Hong Kong based publication Asia IP presented patent and trademark awards to the law firms in 16 jurisdictions in Asia and Pacific at 2011 Asia IP Awards Ceremony held at InterContinental Manila, Philippines on November 11, 2011.

The awards are the result of extensive polling of in-house counsel in Asia and the Pacific, North America, Europe and elsewhere. In-house counsel were asked to nominate up to three law firms in patent and that of in trademarks for each jurisdiction they were familiar with. The firms receiving the most nominations in each category was named the award winners.

Standing out among five shortlisted firms, CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office won the 2011 China Patent Firm of the Year.
