Patent Filings Increase 30% in First Half Year

According to the latest SIPO statistics, SIPO received 345,569 patent applications in the first half year, up 28.5%, 290,208 of which were domestic filings, increasing 34.1% year-on-year and taking up 84% of the total, 132,088, 96,827 and 116,654 were for invention, utility model and design respectively, up 26.6%, 29.6% and 29.8%, taking up 38.2%, 28% and 33.8%.
