Amendment of Patent Law listed into China Legislation Plan in 2008

On January 5, 2008, the General Office of State Council released 2008 State Council Legislation Plan, the Amendment of Patent Law was listed as one of 62 key laws scheduled to be finished within 2008.

The plan said that to submit the Amendment of Patent Law is the need of enhancing China's independent innovation capacity, building an innovative China and adapting Chinese IP system to new international change.
