50th Anniversary Celebration Held in Beijing

50th Anniversary Celebration of CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office is grandly held in Beijing Hotel on September 24, 2007. Over 300 hundred people attended the celebration, including former Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, former President of the Supreme People's Court, former Vice Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Conference-Mr. Ren Jianxin, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT)-Mr. Dong Songgen, officials from the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Legal Work Committee of the National People's Congress, the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the State Intellectual Property Office, National Copyright Administration, as well as people of the intellectual property field, the bar, and the domestic and overseas industrial and commercial community.

Mr. Ren Jianxin made a gracious speech, extending his congratulations to the 50th anniversary of CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office. He spoke highly of the contributions CCPIT and CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office made to the intellectual property cause of our country over the past 50 years, and expressed his hopes for the bright future of CCPIT and CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office. Mr. Dong Songgen, Vice President of CCPIT, recalled CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office's course of development and experience acquired in the past 50 years in his speech. Officials from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the State Intellectual Property Office also addressed the meeting, offering their congratulations to the 50th anniversary of CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office while fully acknowledging the historic contributions that CCPIT has made to the establishment and development of intellectual property system in our country.

After 50 years of development, CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office has grown from an agency with a few trademark attorneys to one of China's largest, most internationally-recognized foreign-related intellectually property firms.
