Achievements Made by the Supreme People's Court

The Supreme People's Court Intellectual Property Panel scored significant achievements in hearing various types of intellectual property cases. The panel had tried 97 cases of various kinds, with 73% of them wound up by the end of December 2006.

In 2006 the Panel accepted 100 intellectual property cases of various types, among them 6 are for the second instance, 73 are for retrial, 4 are for review, and 17 are for instruction. With addition of the pending 33 cases from 2005, a total of 133 were accepted, an increase of 22% over the previous year.
