PCT Applications from China Increased

According to WIPO, Chinese applicants filed 1,782 PCT applications in 2004, up 37.8% from the previous year, registering the fastest growth rate in the world.

WIPO received 120,100 PCT applications in 2004, up 4% from the previous year.
