Madrid Applications from China Increased Dramatically

According to WIPO, Chinese companies and individuals registered 4,931 Madrid trademark applications, up 115% from the previous year, registering the fastest growth rate in the world.

WIPO received 29,459 Madrid applications in 2004, up 23.5% from the previous year.
